The initiative involves upgrading an 8-kilometer parallel inner road to the E45 highway and constructing an additional 6-kilometer road in Abu Dhabi. The combined 15-kilometer stretch will feature a 2-lane dual carriageway with retrofitted roundabouts and new interchanges, including two interchanges connecting to the E45 on the north and south ends. This work encompasses traffic studies, topographical surveys, and geotechnical investigations. Once completed, it will enhance connectivity to Abu Dhabi via the east/west E11 highway, alleviating truck traffic in Madinat Zayed, improving safety, and reducing environmental impact.
